The Ollie Foundation is shaped by the founder’s day-to-day experiences as a parent, advocate, and caregiver. From the moment of her child’s diagnosis, she was thrust into a world of paperwork, evaluations, and services that were often difficult to navigate without guidance or support.

The Ollie Foundation is shaped by the founder’s day-to-day experiences as a parent, advocate, and caregiver. From the moment of her child’s diagnosis, she was thrust into a world of paperwork, evaluations, and services that were often difficult to navigate without guidance or support.
She experienced firsthand the emotional weight of advocating for her child while balancing work, family responsibilities, and financial strain. She also witnessed how families with fewer resources, language barriers, or limited community connections were even more likely to fall through the cracks. These experiences reinforced the importance of early support, clear information, and community-based care.
Her journey taught her that support should not depend on privilege or luck. Ollie’s Foundation exists to turn personal struggle into collective strength by creating pathways to resources, building community, and ensuring autistic children and their families are met with dignity, understanding, and opportunity.
